Raj Bhavan Mizoram renamed as Lok Bhavan Mizoram

Hnahthial Post | December 2, 2025, Aizawl: In pursuance of the communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India dated 25.11.2025, and following the direction of the Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram, the name “Raj Bhavan, Mizoram” has been officially changed to “Lok Bhavan, Mizoram.”

From now on, the official residence of the Governor of Mizoram shall no longer be referred to as “Raj Bhavan, Mizoram” and shall instead be known as “Lok Bhavan, Mizoram.”
